Mural Festival Contribution, “Medusa” - Sept 2022

All Trades was given free rein on the design of this mural so naturally we wanted to have some fun and paint Medusa in a different light.

Usually depicted in art as screaming or shrunken away in a corner, here she is floating and flying, ~blissed out~, surrounded by her iconic snake locks. We were excited to show off our large-scale figure painting skills in this piece as well as brush blending.

We painted this using outdoor house paint that we had leftover from other projects throughout the year, over the course of 5 days. We loved getting to meet other artists while we worked, as we usually are on painting sites all by ourselves!

The piece was revealed along other murals at 934 Gallery’s annual Mural Festival in Columbus, OH.
